Christmas in the Air
Despite wearing our face masks the second time around, undeniably, we can sense that Christmas is in the air!
I found joy staring at and picking some of the home decor finds in Dapitan Arcade - a place popular for affordable and unique crafts. No wonder, it is often featured in TV shows this time of year. Located at Dapitan corner Kanlaon streets in Quezon City, it is easy to find but make sure to observe health protocols when you visit. Bring water and a towel since it can get really hot when you visit at noon.
Since it was a rare opportunity these days, I figured it would make a nice post on the Home Buddies Facebook group. And yes, a lot of people appreciated the stuff we found:
Among the things that caught my attention was the musical snow globe lantern. For a phone booth with Santa, prices range from 800 to 1000 pesos depending on the size.
We got holiday-themed golden plates for 150 each. The mug set which includes a saucer and spoon is also priced the same.
Here are other stuff we saw last Sunday:
You can also expect to see other Christmas decors such as wreaths, life-size Santa Claus, door chimes, baskets, floral center pieces, pillowcases, table runners, and many more. While some may live too far away from Dapitan or may not be able to go because of the pandemic, this post also serves as a source of inspiration for your holiday theme this year.
