REWARDS
I’m having a great day! Sobrang fulfilled dahil I feel like having gone beyond what’s expected of me. I almost cancelled the coverage of “Aritos y Otros” ‘coz at 2pm, nalaman kong wala pang sasakyan at cameraman. Supposedly, gagamitin namin ‘yung sa “@ Ur Serbis.”
Lesson #1
Coordinate with Sir Jojo. Baka may camera, wala namang man. C’mon! I need a man!
Lesson #2
Even if everybody’s telling you na wala nang magagawa, don’t give up without trying.
Lesson #3
Check your tape (c/o producer), camera, and vehicle. OB van? Hunt Kuya Amado.
Lesson #4
Ipaglaban ang video support. Mini DV in the morning? Borrow adaptor from editors, news, or programming.
Lesson#5
Ayaw magbago? I-Ma’am Viz na ‘yan!
Lesson #6
Closely coordinate with your producer. Baka ma-feel nila that you’re bypassing them.
Lesson #7
No time in? Form 001. No time out? Form 002. Reimburse? Go to the cashier and get a form. Present your receipt, trip ticket, and EFP copy (patunay na nag-tape ka at hindi lang namasyal).
Welcome challenges with a smile. And if you’re tired, kumanta lang ng “Hindi ka ba napapagod? O ‘di kaya’y nagsasawa...” at tatawagin nila ang guard.
Here’s some pics from the “Aritos y Otros” (Earrings and Others) exhibit at Shang. Designer Tara Soriano, 21, didn’t hesitate to make a wacky pose as I stared at her creation.
Sabi ko nga on TV, mahirap naman ang “all work and no play.” Kaya sumama ako kay dad who’s paying bills sa mall, with an ulterior motive. Ito ‘yung treats ko sa sarili:
