Another month has passed while we're in general community quarantine. With an opportunity to go out, though limited, what used to be simple joys turned into luxury. Dining in with caution, these were among my delights:
Chocolate Oblivion |
Truffle Mac & Cheese |
Flank, Tendon, and Meatballs Pho |
I thought this new set-up would take more time getting used to. But I realize sooner that I'm close to accepting the norms. It happens all the time, especially when you're left without a choice. I'm usually afraid of the next chapter, only to learn that it could be survived with flying colors.
We wake up each day. We breathe clean air. There's food on the table. There's work to be done. A hand to hold. Always a lot to be thankful for.
