Exploring Jo Malone Fragrances

Last Sunday, our toddler was sleeping so I had a chance to test a lot of scents at the Opus branch of Jo Malone. Wasn’t sure about getting any at first, but just wanted to explore and see if anything would suit me and my sensitive nose.

The staff were very helpful, offering a lot of options and allowing me to take my time. I prefer a scent that can suit men and women since I planned to give just one bottle to my parents. At the same time, they shared tidbits of information to help me make a choice.

Of course, price was one of my major considerations. I thought about getting just two 30 ml bottles so we could bring it when traveling and we won’t have to commit to a single scent for a long time. They didn’t have any promo so the two bottles cost 9,800 pesos.

One challenge when exploring a lot of scents is remembering the name, so instead of the plain paper they used to give out, I requested these:

I got Poppy & Barley for myself and Wild Bluebell for my parents.

You know that I love shopping online and taking advantage of coupons, but for perfume, I prefer to buy in-store and appreciate not just being able to test every thing, but the nice packaging and freebies too.
