A December to Remember
The last month of 2025 gave a lot of memories to cherish. With a toddler to care for, work to focus on, and a home to maintain, it’s not every day that we get to be out there spending time with our parents and friends. It’s a challenge to be physically present. I looked forward to this time of year because I wanted to focus on our bond without planning anything extravagant or out of the ordinary. I didn’t treat it as “holiday rush” but a “holiday pause.”
We know family and true friends to be always there for us, but let’s admit it: We also need to put effort on relationships. Make that phone call, eat a meal together, give gifts, have a good conversation… A lot of ways to show we care! Next to celebrating the birth of our savior, this is what the season means to me.
Here are the moments I am grateful for:
- Our 5th wedding anniversary and my dad’s 70th birthday (We just stayed at Excelsior Hotel)
- Attending our son’s first ever Christmas Party at Mcdo
- Spending a day with my best friend Pam together with her boyfriend, James at UP Town Center
- Being together for Noche Buena and Media Noche at my parents’ home
- Bonding with my in-laws at Robinsons Magnolia (We had lunch at Mann Hann and dinner at Mesa)
We thank the Lord for all the blessings of 2025 and the strength, joy, and hope that we welcome 2026 with. Happy New Year, everyone!
