I Heart NBN

It is a humbling experience to read my notepad once again, reminding me that NBN is where I made my baby steps. In July of this year, it's gonna be my second year as their writer. I wish to give back to the company that reared me, despite its shortcomings that led to the resignation of my coworkers. As I told Juvy in an e-mail, I am among the hopefuls that NBN will be able to soar through the airwaves just like before (the golden years!). I want to contribute towards this change and I look forward to still being part of that success when the right time comes. Let's change the mentality "na wala namang nanonood."

The station has been running plugs for vacancies. It says something like "Work in the company where most of the biggest in the industry started." I just pray that once these positions have been filled up, talents will not only see the company as a training ground but a place where they can grow and devote years of service.

With the passing away of the most-loved Press Sec Cerge Remonde, may those left behind continue to work for progress and improvement of all departments. May the rehabilitation of the transmitter, hiring of new talents, upgrade of equipment, and most especially the coming elections bring about positive change in NBN.

Let's wait and see.
