Back to Riverbanks Center Mall!

I have vague memories of the last time we were here. This used to be one of the places we often went to on Sundays when I was in college up to when I just started working. Perhaps the last time we went shopping here was after it recovered from Ondoy and most of the merchandise were on sale. That was 2009.

So today I went back but instead of my parents, it's with my husband and baby. It felt like the place is more pleasant and organized now, yet the old vibe is still there.

At Shubizz, they have nice sandals at 499 pesos, but the pairs I liked the most are at 1,399 pesos.

First, we had a mozzarella egg drop sandwich (Php 99), iced coffee (Php 70), and two servings of siomai (Php 94). After some window shopping, we strolled in the bazaar area and near the river.

When it was already evening, we ate at the food court. While my husband had his Shawarma Shack staple, I enjoyed my seafood bagoong rice in a box (Php 99) with taro milk tea (Php 70). We spent the rest of our time with more window shopping.

Funny thing is, instead of clothes or shoes, we went home with just a bag of Tinapayan goodies: Loaf, eclair, and cream puff (all for just Php 266). The kind cashier told me they have 20% discount on all items when the store's about to close.
