Let's Play Philippine Politics
If you went ga-ga over "killer killer", then you might relate to what I'm talking about. These are the schemes: Polar bears acting like villagers, and those who even have the guts to act like chieftains. A long table with as many chairs as you can have are all you need.
Mechanics:
Draw lots. Four of you will be assigned as polar bears. Others, villagers who will have one chieftain. Nobody knows each other's identity. At the beginning of the game, everyone will close their eyes and bow their heads. A facilitator who is also a game participant will now order the polar bears to open their eyes. At this point, they may assign their leader (not required) and make faces... whatever they want to do. They will again close their eyes but will no longer have to bow. It is now the turn of the chieftain to look at the four bears. After this, everyone may open their eyes and start the discussion. They should arrive at a consensus as to who will be voted off and killed in order to save the community from the attack of the ruthless polar creatures. If they happen to kill the chieftain, the game's over.
Kung polar bear ka, wala ka gaanong mararamdamang pagmamalasakit sa kapwa oso. Kung gayon, kapag may nag-isip na patayin ang kasama mo, 'di ka magre-react masyado. Wala lang. 'Di mo siya proprotektahan. Pero para mas magulo, pwede kang magpanggap na nagmamalasakit. Magpapanggap kang villager na ayaw mapaslang ang kaibigan. Sasabihin mo ngayong "Bakit gusto mo siyang patayin? Ikaw ang polar bear noh! At gusto mo kaming isa-isahin." Beware. Baka ang nag-emerge na facilitator ay isa rin palang oso. At ang sikat niyang linya ay: "Should we vote her off?" Simpleng panlilinlang upang mapatay ang chieftain. Matututunan mo rin nang husto ang mga prinsipyo ng sabwatan sa larong ito.
Ang napatunayan ko lang sa game, lalo kang papaslangin kapag nag-ingay ka. Malamang kasi, polar bear kang nagpapanggap. Tahimik lang dapat ang villager dahil nakapikit siya sa simula. Walang nakita. Pero maaaring may naramdaman...

I recommend this game for classes in Organizational Communication. 'Pag may seryosong conference kuno, ibaba muna ang papeles sa sahig at magbunutan na, habang wala pa si boss. Kung gustong palawakin ang laro at isasali ang buong klase, magkakaroon na ng hierarchy. Maghirang ng heir to the throne. Siguro kasama na siya ng polar bears na magsasabwatan para patayin ang chieftain. Pwede rin ang Pusher Pusher. Mag-assign ng pulis, commoner, drug lord atbp. Kung Philippine Politics naman, pangulo ang tutukuyin ng opposition senators.
