Kaleidoscope

For now, with the start of a new year, I see the world through the eyes of a small child... and these are the things that make up my kaleidoscope world. Wait. What's that ellipsis for? My friend's friend kept asking if it's an economical way of saying "yadda yadda yadda," "blah blah blah," or "three blind mice"? Well...

1. On cloning: My teacher says that in her opinion, cloning cannot ever replace the time-honored way of reproduction. First of all, cloning is not FUN. (C'mon... think of all the romance that you could've been missing.)
2. Are you afraid to ride the airplane? Then how could the airline companies widen their market to include those who fear traveling by air? Will advertisement presenting statistics (incidence of plane crashes) work? What about telling us that they have the most beautiful attendants and the best life saving tools? My classmate says that they should start with: "Pag oras mo, oras mo na." Now, imagine: Philippine Airlines... 'pag oras mo, oras mo na. Heeheehee... I think MMDA can also use this to replace "Walang tawiran, makamamatay."
3. Is there such thing as bitch/whore coconut oil?
4. My friend Rusell tells about the story of an old woman selling candles in Quiapo. She told a customer, "Wag ka rito magdasal. Doon sa loob ng simbahan, para marinig ka ng Diyos."
5. In a church parking lot was a sign that says:
PARKING ON BOTH SIDES.
The "NO" is covered by a sticker with these words: "Ituloy ang pag-unlad. Galing mo QC!"
6. Supposed to be, her new year's resolution is to brush her teeth every after meal. But right after the media noche, she forgot to. My advice is for you to make a new resolution: "Tutupad na 'ko sa mga new year's resolution."
