Gianne and I: A Friendship Since High School

Yesterday was fab, not just because of seeing the Trendsetters Bazaar but finding/realizing things more essential than fashion.

Through the years, Gianne and I have shared a number of "parallels" that were not planned. They just happened, like how we joined the same church org, went to the same university during college, decided to pursue respective master's programs and finished in the same year. And even if I don't understand her Computer Science thesis at all, we connect in a lot of ways. :-D For one, we are both happy with how we spent our 20s.

And now, we are the drivers who still have a lot to learn to be masters of the road. Hehe. It was the first time that I met her car named "Mikhail." Our itinerary: World Trade Center followed by Blue Bay Walk.

I praised her for navigating well to our destinations, but we celebrated too much later on to almost climb the Skyway without meaning to. Hahaha. Thanks to Waze, we got back on track at Magallanes. That's how we effectively learn in life: Making mistakes.

So to Gianne who's reading this, I commend you for such care on the road. May all drivers take to heart their responsibilities: To other drivers, pedestrians and passengers. May we also resolve our inner conflict as to whether offense is the best defense in driving. ;-)

Credit goes to her for all the photos in this post.
