Cookies and Coffee

Lately I wrote about Because Coffee (harlan + holden) where my husband and I savored a good cup and some irresistible cookies. As you may have noticed, there are a lot of places like that in the metro nowadays where you can choose from an array of cookies (the big and thick ones) and pair it with either hot or iced coffee.

A more recent experience we enjoyed was at Leslie's Couture Cupcakes and Pastries in Ayala Malls Feliz. Cookies are at 100 pesos and up, and you also have the usual coffee options as in other popular cafes.

We tried three flavors: Chunky Choco, Matcha Cheesecake, and Toffee Crunch. It was almost closing time when we arrived so we had the two tables to ourselves. Only four guests can sit at a time and most customers just have their cookies and coffee to go.

It'll be a good idea to come back for Matcha Cheesecake plus their other flavors, either for snacks or dessert. We loved it!
