Manam Comfort Filipino Food

It was Good Friday and our family opted to eat at one of the few restos open at SM Mall of Asia which was Manam. Unlike previous visits in their other branches, we didn't have a beef or pork dish this time. Instead we had:

Baby Squid in Olive Oil - Php 325 (medium)
House Tofu Sisig - Php 275 (medium)
Camaron Rebosado - Php 215 (small)
Fresh Lumpiang Ubod - Php 85 (small)
White Rice - Php 120 (medium)
Mango Pomelo Sago - Php 160

On their menu, dishes come in three sizes. Small would be for one, medium for 2-3, and large for 4 or more. If you're having other dishes that will be shared with the family, you can also go for medium just like what we did though there were 4 of us. Hindi naman siya bitin.

Honestly, this has been my favorite lunch at Manam. The humble tofu sisig is absolutely tasty with its special sauce! While it was also delish, we weren't warned that baby squid in olive oil is spicy. Good thing camaron rebosado and fresh lumpiang ubod were there to balance tastes with their sweet sauces.

As always, Manam has a lot of good options for Pampalamig. Though I also liked this Mango Pomelo Sago, my fave remains to be Ube Sago.
