Smoke Gets In My Eyes

…and nose.

Smoke can be beneficial. Recall that we grabbed 2nd place in the Tagis-Awit in high school with a smoke machine. On the other hand, I hate it because it irritates the lungs. I commute everyday, passing through Elliptical Road and Commonwealth Ave. My dad is a chain smoker. In short, my hair smells…(guess what).

Smoke brings fear at midnight because it signals the arrival of a kapre. Kill that giant tabako please.

Early in life did I become aware of pollution. My dream is actually to spend the rest of my life in the province where I can breathe fresh air and lead a simple life. I can vividly recall the bahay-kubo, rice field, tree, and mountain which I kept drawing.
